BYOBB (Bring Your Own Banned Book) discussion In-Person
September 22-28 is Banned Books Week. What better way to bring awareness of censorship than by sharing why you like your favorite banned book?
Join us in the library for the 2024 BYOBB (Bring Your Own Banned Book) chat on Thursday, September 26th, in Library Event Hall, L102, from 1 to 2 p.m. and again from 3 to 4 p.m.
The first half hour will be about why the book was banned and why you enjoyed the story. In the last half hour, everyone will read their book in silence.
Learn more about the Most Challenged and Banned Books list on the American Library Association's Top 10 Most Challenged Books, or visit Censorship by the Numbers at ALA.
